Practitioner Profiles

Alyssa Berg – Reiki Practitioner

The word Reiki comes from the Japanese words "rei," which means universal, and "ki," which means life force energy. During a Reiki session, a practitioner acts as a channel for this energy and transfers it to the recipient, either by placing their hands on or near the recipient's body. Reiki promotes harmonious balance in the body, mind, and spirit.

During a period of intense meditation and spiritual practice on Mount Kurama in 1922, Mikao Usui founded the Usui system of Reiki healing. I would like to thank Dr.Usui and all of the teachers that have brought this practice through the ages, with special thanks to the Reiki godmothers, Aki Baker & Manu Delprete.

Reiki Precepts taught by Dr. Usui

Just for today:

Do not be angry.

Do not worry.

Be thankful.

Do what you are meant to do.

Be kind to others.

Camilla Padgitt-Coles – Sound and Chromotherapy

Past sound work includes playing as part of the bimonthly series DEEP SPACE: A Transcendental Journey into the Mystical Drone at Golden Drum (2010–2012), Grounding Activations at Pineapple Reality (2016–2020), as well as working with acoustic vibrational instruments and color/light in the context of live performance, art, and projections for music.

I have had deep experiences of healing through sound and light myself and am excited and humbled to offer this to others.
